The Canoe Trip

While canoeing down the River Foyle On a beautiful July evening Paul got a bit excited and managed to drop his paddle into the river but in a moment without a second thought just grabbed his guitar and proceeded to carry on using it as a paddle. Talk about a versatile instrument. They paddled of round in a circle and retrieved the paddle and off they went again but not before Paul checked out the acoustic properties of a guitar filled with water. He says the most difficult thing is playing it without getting wet but he also noticed that a neat wah wah effect could be created by swishing the water around the inside of the guitar.

I cant see this kind of water music taking off but it is good to know that a carbon fibre guitar can take everything you can throw at it and still stays in tune.
