Frequently asked questions Q.What is the X5 Life made of ? A. The X5 is made from a combination of materials but predominantly high grade carbon fibre using our unique one piece casting technology where we actually create the entire guitar in one piece, neck, body bridge the lot. This innovative technology gives the guitar great strength eliminating any weak joints but also gives the guitar great resonance with the entire guitar working together in unison. Q. Will an X5 be effected by weather conditions like a regular wooden guitar ? A. No. Carbon fibre is completely unaffected by any weather condition this world can throw at it. Q. What finish is on the outside of my X5 Life? A. On the X5 we use a polyester outer coating that is actually applied during the moulding process. This means that it is fused to the structure of the guitar so wont chip off making it an incredibly durable finish Q. Is there a truss rod in the X5 life? A. No we build the neck of the X5 extra strong and in the required relief so you don’t need to worry about it. This neck is so strong that a truss rod would not work Q. Will I be able to carry my X5 on to planes as hand luggage? A. Every airline has different rules as to the amount of carry on luggage allowed on board but in most cases it should not be a problem and the compact gig bag fits into most overhead lockers. Q. How strong is an X5 Life? A. In testing we have been able to stand on it play baseball with it, hit people with it and many other mindless acts of violence without causing any major damage but beware while we did it in testing our warranty does not cover using your guitar as a baseball bat. Q. Is my X5 Life water proof? A. Yes, this guitar is every bit as waterproof as a boat but beware your pickups are not water proof so if you feel the need to take your guitar into the water be sure it is an all acoustic version. Q. What materials can I use to clean my guitar? A. The best thing to use to clean the body of the guitar is a damp cloth and it can then be polished using regular automotive wax. Q. Can I buy an X5 in any shops? A. No it is our policy to only sell the X5 direct from our factory giving you the benefit of low prices and direct after sales service. Q. What do I do if I order an X5 and I find I don’t like it? A. In the unlikely event that you don’t fall in love with your new guitar you can return it to us within 10 days for a full refund.  Q. Will I have to pay import duty? A.Different countries have different import duties and policies. If we are shipping within the EU you will not be charged import duty but in other non EU countries it may apply.
